The Lillstreet Blog

For 40 years, Lillstreet Art Center has provided Chicago communities with arts education and opportunities for artistic growth. As the Center’s Director of Marketing and Communications, I united the eight educational departments, as well as the Gallery, Artisan Shop, and other programs, to create a single, cohesive platform for keeping Lillstreet’s large community informed and inspired. My content plan, copy, and the media I gathered was passed on to Porter & West to develop the blog and integrate it into Lillstreet’s existing web properties. After working with my marketing interns to develop the first series of posts—interviews with prominent members of the Lillstreet community—I shared my editorial calendar with department faculty, program staff, and my trusted interns.
